The Travel Backpack’s Plastic-Free Packaging
If you've been following along since the release of the Pakt One, you know that we are passionate about designing 100% plastic-free packaging for all of our products with our sister company, SeaHive. If you’re new ‘round these parts, you might be wondering why we care so much about making sure no plastic is included in our packaging or shipping processes.
Well, every year, billions of products are manufactured, packaged, and shipped around the world in plastic packaging. Those packaging materials make up approximately ⅓ of all plastic waste and stick around for centuries, often contaminating our environment, ocean, and wildlife.
We’re committed to doing our part to stop plastic pollution and hope to inspire other brands to do the same – we post all of our resources on the SeaHive Directory.
We’re so excited to show off our SeaHive + Pakt designed packaging for our newest product, the Pakt Travel Backpack, so let’s get into it!
The Exterior
Just like the Pakt One, the design for the carton minimizes airspace and maximizes density in any shipping container or vehicle to decrease the carbon footprint of transport. Since there is little chance of the product getting damaged while in transit, no extra padding material is needed. The box is sealed with a single piece of water-activated paper tape.
The exterior of the box is also stamped with the SeaHive seal, proudly proclaiming that this package contains no plastic.
Inside
The Backpack is sheathed in its beautiful wrap with diagrams designed by our friends at No Thanks. The wrap not only protects the bag, but it also has some handy tips on how to get the most out of the Backpack’s 20+ features.
Phew, the unboxing is Loki approved! Success. Glad you dig, little dude.
