Pakt Travel Backpack: Full Features List & Owner's Tips

There’s a ton of features on The Pakt Travel Backpack to get yourself acquainted with, and some of them deserve a little explanation. Here's a little “owner’s manual” with some best practices for optimum travel performance.

1. Sternum Straps

Slide the straps vertically for the perfect fit, or completely remove if you prefer

2. Secret Pocket

Stash your travel documents, cash, passport, or any other valuables you might want to keep secure from prying eyes and fingers

3. Padded Shoulder Straps

The straps unclip and hideaway for checked luggage, or to carry briefcase style.

Adjust the load lifters to redistribute the weight of the pack from your back closer to your body. For best results, use with the hip belt.

4. Outer front pocket organization

A Small mesh compartment
B Pen Holder
C Key clip

5. Water-proof pocket

Stash wet items, or things that could leak into your stuff like a wet swimsuit, toiletries, saucy burritos, etc.

6. Hip Belt + day pack / sling

Fold back or tuck away when not needed, or completely remove hip straps to transform this feature into a stand alone sling or hip pack to use for exploring your destination.

Unvelcro the hip straps from the back panel and follow the steps below:

Accessory straps

There are 8 lashing points on either side of the bag. Clip accessory straps to these loops to secure jackets, a tripod, yoga mat, etc. We included one pair of straps but you can purchase additional pairs if you need more.

TSA Pocket

The TSA pocket is located on the back of the bag near the bottom. It pulls out for convenient access when going through security, so you can unload your pockets of any personal items like watches, phones, spare change, passports, etc.

Luggage pass-through

Bike light loop

Attach a light to this small loop to add visibility when you’re walking down a dark city street, or riding your bike.

Lockable Zippers

Tip: all exterior zippers can be locked together using a cable lock.

Water bottle Pocket

Interior Features

7. Two large interior compartments for organized packing

8. Laptop sleeve

The padded laptop sleeve gives additional protection from the clothing packed on either side of the bag. It can be accessed when the backpack is closed by unzipping the main compartment along the top edge.

The sleeve fits up to a 16” laptop (depending on the brand).

9. Mesh divider

The mesh divider makes identifying contents easy. We’ve added a pocket on the divider here, which can be accessed from the top without fully opening the bag.

10. Mesh pockets

Interior mesh pockets are meant to hold Pakt accessories like the Packing Cubes and Rain Cover, but you can also use them for any small personal items.

Bonus- they are located in a spot that you can easily access from the top access zipper on the back panel.
